POLICY AND LAW PERTAINING TO SPEECH

THIS AMENDS OUR POLICY PERTAINING TO SPEECH, AS OF AUGUST 23, 2023

As a matter of policy, the Arbalest Quarrel website does not tolerate or condone targeting any person or group of people on the fact of Race, Color, National Origin, Sex, Sexual Orientation, or Age, even if such targeting constitutes protected speech within the First Amendment’s Freedom of Speech clause.

We do not engage in this conduct ourselves and will not knowingly publish on our website any third-party comment to one of our articles or essays that attacks a person or group based on Race, Color, National Origin, Sex, Sexual Orientation, or Age. And, we will not knowingly

If we criticize a person or a group, that criticism is grounded only on what that person or group says or does that we believe is antithetical to the precepts and principles of our sacred documents as understood by the Framers and inconsistent with United States Supreme Court rulings, or is otherwise inconsistent with our policy as recited, supra.

This means that we do not knowingly engage in expressive conduct that U.S. Law prohibits. We will not knowingly post third-party comments to our articles or essays, nor will we knowingly accept a third-party article or essay for publication on the Arbalest Quarrel that is inconsistent with the matters discussed in this “Policy.”

Categories of prohibited speech the U.S. Supreme Court discusses fall into three areas only that we are aware of: Defamation, Obscenity, and a category of Speech that the U.S. Supreme Court calls “Fighting Words.”

We understand other Countries or groups of nations such as the EU and the British Commonwealth of Nations may prohibit speech protected in our Nation. But, then, no other nation, group of nations, or other political construct has a true bill of rights or one as robust as our own. And some don’t even have a bill of rights.

Apart from our voluntarily refraining from some expressive conduct protected under the First Amendment, we look to the plain meaning of the Freedom of Speech Clause and to the rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court as our guide when preparing content for publication on our site. Our readers should understand and respect what this means if they choose to access the content on our website.

Since our primary guide, in the final analysis, is, and always will be, on the Freedom of Speech Clause of the Bill of Rights, we do not accept as gospel, nor as Constitutionally compelling, any opinion of the Press and media, nor the opinion and rhetoric of politicians, nor the opinion and rhetoric of the many organizations that are in service to a political cause or that are bound to a social or political agenda at odds with the import and purport of our fundamental Natural Law Rights and Liberties; nor do we accept as gospel the false platitudes promoted by business leaders motivated, as they are, solely or primarily by self-interest.

We have not allowed and we will never allow third parties to impact our own views that we take strong exception to.

FURTHER TO OUR MISSION:

We carefully analyze and scrutinize applicable State and Federal Bills and Legislation to determine whether or the extent to which State and Federal Executive and Legislative Branches and lower State and Federal Courts adhere to the import and purport of our Bill of Rights and to the rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court. This is and remains the central focus of the Arbalest Quarrel and that central focus informs our approach to preparing and publishing our content.

The only qualification to this original central focus is based on recent dangerous events that have unfolded in our Country in the last several years.

We have become acutely aware of the deliberate, invidious use of social engineering of the public psyche.

This use of psychological conditioning on an industrial scale has turned many Americans against their own history, heritage, culture, core values, and National ethos.

It is incumbent upon us, to draw attention to this fact. We have done so, and continue to do so.

This insidious, unconscionable attack on the psyche cuts across every aspect of what it means to be an “American Citizen” and True American Patriot, respecting and cherishing of our Natural Law Rights.

These Natural Law Rights are not the creation of Government but of the Divine Creator who has bestowed these Rights on Man. This is what our Founders firmly believed and we take this Belief as Axiomatic.

The would-be Destroyers of our Nation know the sanctity of our Free Constitutional Republic and the sanctity and the inviolability of the Individual is the cornerstone of our Nation’s power, success, happiness, and greatness. They won’t abide this.

That idea is the primary thrust of the would-be Destroyers’ attack on our Country and our People. It is this idea they mean to eradicate and must eradicate if they are to succeed in dismantling our Free Republic.

We won’t let them. We will continue to use our Natural Law Right of Free Speech to repel that attack on our Nation and on the Sovereignty of the American People over the Government.
